PRINT RECIPE

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups milk + extra 1/2 cup
1/2 cup Mossop’s Field & Tawari honey
1 egg
2 Tbsp custard powder
1 Tbsp white sugar
Vanilla essence to taste

Method:

  1. Bring the milk and honey to the boil
  2. In a medium bowl whisk the egg well. Add extra milk and whisk again
  3. Add custard powder, sugar and vanilla essence to the egg mixture
  4. Add to the boiling milk and whisk until it thickens
